"It's Rocket Science, Actually!" by Espresso Ventures - July 2026
Welcome to a special edition of Espresso Ventures' Naples Tech Meetup!
Our theme for July is Space Technology.
Following a recent announcement at Naples Tech earlier this Spring '26, a delegation of entrepreneurs from Southwest Florida made the trip to the annual Hackathon in April 2026 @ Florida's Space Coast accelerator, Groundswell.
From this partnering community in Melbourne, we are grateful to be announcing the following speakers:
First, we'll have Zing Drones Solutions Founder & CEO Ian Annase. Ian is on a mission to deploy the company's technology globally, helping define the future of drone safety and airspace awareness. Zing Drone is an airspace intelligence company focused on enabling safe and accountable drone operations through real-time detection and Remote ID technology. Its products, including Z-RID, Z-SCAN, and Z-SCAN MINI, provide compliant identification and continuous monitoring of low-altitude airspace for governments, law enforcement, and commercial operators.
Next, Ruchir Gupta, an industrial designer and a community leader, will present the non-profit organization Groundswell Startups, which is the entire reason for this SpaceTech edition of the meetup. Groundswell is an incubator, prototype lab, and give-first community providing holistic resources for startups and innovators, bringing concepts to life and accelerating scalability for businesses ranging from tech to manufacturing on the Space Coast.
One of our next guest speakers will come from one of the world's leading Space agencies, unpacking how things are done in rocket science... literally.
