Chennai | TNIL1 - CCCL x SheBuilds - Impact Lab

​Event Description

​CCCL X SheBuilds Chennai Hack – Code & Challenge 3.0 is a national-level women-in-tech hackathon that brings together innovators, developers, designers, and problem-solvers to build impactful solutions to real-world challenges.

Note : Only the team leader has to fill the registration form representing the team. If the team has already applied through Devfolio, there is no need to fill this form again. Make sure that your team name stays unique to avoid repetition amongst other teams.

​Participants will compete across two stages:

​•       Round 1: Online PPT Submission Round [ Click to find the PPT Template ]
•       Round 2: 24-Hour Offline Grand Finale

​Who Can Participate?

​•       Women aged 18 years and above
•       Teams of 2–4 members
•       Participants from both technical and non-technical backgrounds are welcome

​Round 1: Online Innovation Challenge
What Participants Need to Do
Teams must:
•       Select a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) or impact-focused theme
•       Identify a real-world problem
•       Propose an innovative solution
•       Team Leader alone submits their idea through the application portal using the given PPT template

​Outcome : The top 50 teams will be shortlisted and invited to compete in the offline finale at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai.

​Round 2: Offline Grand Finale (Top 50 Teams Only)
Dates & Venue
•       Dates: August 1–2, 2026 [ 24-hour hackathon ]
•       Venue: Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai
[ Travel and accommodation facility will not be provided before or after the hackathon - food and refreshments will be taken care of during the entire hackathon duration ]

​What Happens in Round 2?
Unlike traditional hackathons where teams continue building their Round 1 idea, shortlisted teams will receive new challenge statements during the finale to build upon it.

•       Top 50 Teams Announcement: July 15, 2026
•       Offline Finale: August 1–2, 2026
