This is the 5th year for the premier venture investor and startup conference and early stage business competition that showcases our region as a powerhouse for innovation and business opportunity.
The competition fuels innovation-based business growth by showcasing the best and brightest new tech startups to potential investors to foster their development within the US, Virginia, Maryland, and Metro DC and related industries like AI, government, military and defense.
Dozens of top tech companies and 20+ student teams will compete to win cash and bragging rights. The competition targets entrepreneurs with early to mid seed stage, high growth businesses with the potential to have an immediate and positive impact on our local economy.
SILICON VALLEY INVESTORS OR OTHER REGIONS CAN APPLY FOR TRAVEL STIPEND
If you are an accredited investor, we will review your application. If you are accepted, at our discretion, we will cover three nights hotel at the Westin Arlington Gateway if you attend and speak or judge a session. In some cases we will also offer a travel stipend.
If selected as a judge, you get free invites to exclusive VIP receptions with top high net worth family offices, angels and LPS primarily from the east coast seeking Silicon Valley investing opportunities and invetment partners. This is ideal if you are seeking investors for your next fund. You can join a panel on the main stage or judge the venture forum track. All applications and travel expenses awarded at our discretion and subject to approval of event hosts.
