About Event

Are you a creative person who cares about the world? Do you like free food? Do you want to know how to help stop the plastic industry from spreading propaganda in kids’ classrooms? Then come to our Climate Week creator lunch!

Plastic Pollution Coalition (PPC) just launched Plastic Expelled: Exposing Industry Propaganda in U.S. Schools, a landmark new report about the plastic industry's strategies for targeting children—and, importantly, how to support industry-free education.

To celebrate the launch, we will dive into some (purposeful) misconceptions we grew up with due to plastic marketing, identify where and how this propaganda still shows up in classrooms, and spread the word to educators and parents everywhere.

Hosted by chilli, Plastic Pollution Coalition, and Suzie Hicks.
