Noisebridge 18th Birthday Party: Fairly Legal! (SATURDAY)
SATURDAY: PRESENTATIONS, MUSIC, RAVE
Noisebridge is turning 18 — the age of bad decisions, great music, and realizing the system is completely broken. We're throwing a prom for the kids who skipped prom, crashed prom, or got kicked out of prom.
Come as your 18-year-old self: the metalhead, the punk, the hacker, the stoner, the weirdo who spent lunch period in the computer lab because you were already building the future. Bring something to fix. Make something stupid. Show off what your guild does. Hack the planet. Stay excellent.
Game demos, activities, and tours run noon through evening, culminating in the Main Event and an all-night rave.
SATURDAY SCHEDULE
Noon–5:00pm
Open space, Stupid Things Hackathon continues, repair fair, guild show-and-tell.
5:00-7:00pm
Playable Gaming Guild Demos all over the space
7:00–9:00pm
Hackathon Awards followed by 10 Minutes of Fame
9:00pm to 11pm
Music Guild live music - Zoellen, Null, more TBD
11pm to 3am
Hackers (the movie) themed RAVE
Noisebridge runs on donations!
This anniversary party is also a fundraiser. We are a volunteer-run, completely donation-operated 501c3
Your "ticket" is a tax-deductible donation to Noisebridge. Yay! Pay what you can, contribute a little more if possible. It really helps us keep Skynet fully contained in its sandbox (for now).
