Who is this for?
Are you a queer entrepreneur looking for a supportive space to build your business, connect with
like-minded people, and finally start charging what you’re worth?
Queer business owners who are:
In the early growth stage of their business but already experienced in their field
Looking for a supportive queer community to share wins, challenges, and insights
Struggling with accountability and want structure to take action
Ready to charge better rates and build sustainable income
This course is for: you have a business, it’s going well, you keep getting more customers but that increase in money sitting in your account (and flying out again) starts to freak you out. You feel you want to grow your company but with growth comes bigger risks and the idea of more money makes you nervous
You rather not look at your bank accounts
Even though your company is growing, you end up spending more and more and it doesn’t make sense to you, somehow the nr’s don’t add up
About the program
Most business memberships don’t get it. They focus on outdated sales tactics, don’t create safe spaces for queer entrepreneurs, and fail to provide real accountability. That’s why Mind Your Own Business exists—to give you the community, structure, and resources you need to grow a profitable business on your terms.
We all want to run our own business – what I see in the queer community is that we often don’t have a choice than to work for ourselves. May it be due to the outside world not accepting, discriminating or not being built for us, or our inside world yearning for authenticity beyond the capitalistic hamster wheel.
With running your own business comes the responsibility of managing your finances.
The more awareness we develop in our personal, political and activist lives, the more we seem to misalign with capitalistic reasoning. Often we feel ashamed, like class traitors, to want and even need more money. And with that comes the idea that we should repulse money.
Why does it matter to get wealthy ?
Demands require capital
It takes money to support protesters
It requires money to fund causes we find important and give to change
Want your friends, spouse, metamours to get food, education, housing, their basic needs met? That also goes a lot quicker when we get comfortable with earning well!
Money allows us to play the game with our own rules, it gives us the advantage and freedom above oppressors. So yes you need to get okay with money and therefore this course (my opinion) is for all queer entrepreneurs who have their needs met already, their business is doing okay but they wonder: is this it? I want to do more, but where do I start?
This course is designed to start thinking differently about wealth

This session is hosted by River Nice:
"I got into the finance world after helping a loved one navigate credit card debt that came from her gender transition. My natural gift of a "spreadsheet brain" combined with the financial education that came from my racial & socioeconomic privilege set me up to be able to serve my community in this way.
Since 2017, I've helped over 300 clients take control of their own money to build better lives for themselves and their communities."
