Ceramic Vase Workshop | CERA SERA X LENITA
Join us at the beloved Highland Park floral shop, Lenita, for a special afternoon of flowers, clay, and making something entirely your own.
For this workshop, we’re getting earthy. Working with warm, speckled earthenware clay in beautiful brown hues, you’ll begin by choosing one of three hand-thrown forms as the foundation for your piece. From there, the shape is yours to transform—add handles, sculptural details, and tactile elements like petals, scales, spikes, or abstract forms to create a one-of-a-kind vessel with plenty of personality.
Want a little color? Add bright painted details during the workshop, or keep things beautifully earthy and choose from a selection of commercial glazes that Cera Sera Studio will apply to your piece later during the firing process.
Need a little inspiration before you get your hands in clay? Take a peek at Danielle’s work here for a glimpse at the clay, forms, textures, and glaze possibilities you can explore.
Think of it as your chance to design a custom ceramic centerpiece for your home—something to fill with flowers, bring to the dinner table, or gift to someone you love as we head into the hosting season.
No ceramic experience necessary. Just come ready to play, experiment, and get your hands a little dirty.
Clay, flowers, and a little creative freedom—what more could you want?
