Making Room: A Toronto History of Homebuilding
What can the past tell us about the present—and future—of Toronto’s housing crisis?
Join historian Hana Suckstorff, PhD as we travel back in time to the early 20th century to explore the roots of, and possible solutions to Toronto's present housing problems.
We’ll look at how the system worked in the early 20th century, how it functions today, and what historical solutions can teach us through the story of one street: Palmerston Boulevard.
