About the Event

Spatial Frontier Club is bringing the SIGGRAPH 2026 conversation back to the Bay Area @ Mission Robotics San Francisco!

This gathering is designed for people who either missed SIGGRAPH 2026 in LA or just returned with new ideas, questions, and perspectives to share.

As AI, computer graphics, XR, world models, VFX, and spatial computing continue to converge, we’ll explore what stood out at this year’s conference—and what these signals may mean for the next generation of creative tools and intelligent systems.

Rather than a formal conference session, the evening will combine short technical talks, open discussion, and networking. Speakers will share firsthand takeaways from SIGGRAPH, recent work, and perspectives on where the field is heading next.

Whether you attended SIGGRAPH or followed from afar, join us to compare notes and continue the conversation in San Francisco.

Featured Speakers

  1. Ke Jing from PICO / ByteDance

    • Dr. Ke Jing is a Lead Product Manager working on spatial computing hardware, OS, and developer technology and global ecosystem at PICO, ByteDance. His recent work includes PICO's upcoming flagship XR device - Project Swan, XR robot teleoperation, and ego-centric data collection with frontier robotics companies in US and China. Before PICO, he worked as a Software Engineer at Unity Technologies on the XR Interaction Toolkit. He also worked as a Tech Lead at Genies on avatar. He got his PhD in Informatics from the University of California, Irvine, in 2021.

  2. Lucky Iyinbor from Skild AI

    • Lucky Iyinbor is an independent researcher and a Member of Technical Staff at Skild AI, where he works on high-performance physics simulation for robotics. His work spans GPU optimization, spatial representations, physics simulation, and machine learning, with a focus on their applications in robotics.

    • Before joining Skild AI, he worked on on-device LLM inference, real-time graphics, geometry processing, simulation, computer vision, AR, and spatial computing.

    • At SIGGRAPH 2026, he presented his latest paper, Soft Anisotropic Diagrams for Differentiable Image Representation, developed as an independent researcher in collaboration with MIT. His talk explores the spectrum of simulators - from traditional physics engines, through hybrid systems with learned components, to fully learned simulation models, often referred to as world models.

  3. Bohan Sun from Nlink

    • Bohan Sun is the Co-founder and CEO of Nlink and a long-time medium researcher, working on scalable 4D capture — walkable, browser-native 4D content and ground-truth data for physical AI. His recent work includes Nlink's full in-house 4D pipeline, from multi-camera capture to browser playback, and commissioned 4D captures for tech companies and cultural institutions. Before Nlink, he founded BCA, Asia's first major platform for cultural digital assets, bringing cultural digital assets to collectors, Art Basel, and museums. He also co-curated the Digital Art Auction at Sotheby's, where his coding art sold for $140,000 — a record for digital art in Asia. He has lectured at Stanford and Harvard, and his work is published by Taschen.

  4. Hokin Deng from Carnegie Mellon University

    • Hokin Deng is a researcher working on video reasoning AI, studying how machines can understand and predict the physical world from video. He leads VBVR, a large-scale video model benchmark spanning 56 authors across 32 universities, which reached #1 on Hugging Face and was named Paper of the Month, alongside publications at ICML. He previously conducted research in cognitive science and neuroscience at Johns Hopkins, Harvard and Carnegie Mellon.
