AI for Your Life & Business: Turn Ideas Into Action
Workshop Description
Have an idea you want to explore, a business task you want to simplify, or an everyday challenge you could use help tackling? Join Jeseekia Vaughn of Fully Developed Tech for a hands-on workshop putting AI to work for your goals.
We’ll cover AI essentials, explore how AI assistants and agents work, and demonstrate practical uses for everyday life, existing businesses, and new startup ideas. You’ll then work on your own task or idea with guidance on giving AI useful context, reviewing its output, and turning the results into action.
Session Outline
- AI Essentials: Understand what AI can do, write useful prompts, and learn how to evaluate its responses.
- Agentic Uses: Explore how AI assistants and agents can help with tasks and workflows, and where human judgment and approval matter.
- Set Up Your AI Assistant: Define its purpose, provide context, and create reusable instructions tailored to your goals.
- Hands-On Lab: Explore lifestyle, business, and startup demonstrations, then apply what you’ve learned to your own task or idea.
- Next Steps: Save your work, identify opportunities to keep building, and leave with a clear action plan.
Walk away with reusable AI instructions, a practical first output, and clear next steps. No coding or prior AI experience required. Bring a laptop and a task or idea you’d like to work on.

About Citizens of AI:
Citizens of AI is a community-powered initiative rooted in a bold idea: the community is the new college. As artificial intelligence reshapes work, creativity, business, and culture, access to AI education and opportunity can no longer live only inside traditional institutions. It must exist in neighborhoods, creative spaces, community centers, libraries, and everyday conversations.
Created by REBRANDX in partnership with the Knight Foundation, Citizens of AI is designed to help everyday people understand, explore, and build with AI through hands-on experiences, workshops, conversations, and collaborative projects. The initiative empowers entrepreneurs, creators, students, professionals, and residents to move from simply consuming technology to actively shaping the future with it.
This is not about teaching people to fear AI. It is about helping communities build the confidence, literacy, and creative intelligence to participate in the new intelligence economy. Citizens of AI believes the future belongs to communities that learn together, build together, and create together.
