Peer Suite | The Wealth Panel: Exploring The Gender Pension Gap
The gender pension gap is twice the size of the gender pay gap, and only half of UK adults know it exists. Women in the UK retire with far less than men, and the reasons have little to do with the choices they make. Career breaks, part-time work and unpaid care add up to decades of lost savings.
This Wealth Panel looks at why the gap exists and what you can do about it. Stand Communications recently published She's Earned It, a report drawn from research with 2,000 UK adults, and two of the people behind it will share what they found. On the panel, we also have a private wealth adviser from Atlas Wealth, to bring the practical side, the small steps you can take at any stage to start closing your own gap.
Whether you have a clear pension plan or have been meaning to look at yours for years, you will leave understanding where you stand and what to do next.
The panel is followed by networking so that you can carry on the conversation with the women in the room.

Who should join
This event is open to professional women who want to feel more confident and informed about their pension and long-term finances.
You do not need to know anything about pensions to attend. If you work in finance, this one is still for you. Understanding markets professionally is very different from having a clear plan for your own retirement.
