CoS AI Buildathon Series: Build Your Personal AI Workspace | Part-1: Your First Two Skills
A three-part series for the Chief of Staff who is done being the bottleneck for communications, strategy, and operations. Across July, August, and September you will build a personal AI workspace one layer at a time: reusable Skills, then connected Projects, then a single dashboard that runs them. Register for one session or all three. Each part builds on the last, and recordings are shared after every session so you can catch up if you miss one. By the end of September you will have a working system that is specific to your role and your principal, not a folder of saved prompts.
Part 1 (July): Your First Two Skills
Most Chiefs of Staff are still re-typing the same prompts and copying outputs back and forth. This 60-minute session ends that. You will build two reusable Skills that handle the work you repeat every day.
What you will build:
The Executive Voice Twin (Skill). A Skill trained on your principal's past emails, Slack messages, and board updates, so drafts come back sounding like them instead of like a chatbot. Cowork integration: use Dispatch to send each draft to your principal for a quick vibe check before it goes out.
The Dispatcher (Skill). A triage Skill that reads your inbox and sorts what needs a reply, what needs routing, and what you can ignore. This becomes the front door to the Projects you build in Part 2.
You leave with: two working Skills you can use the same afternoon.
Before you join: a Claude account. We show every build in Claude; ChatGPT, Gemini, or Codex work too, with slightly different outputs. Registration includes a short setup checklist so everyone starts on the same footing.
Homework before Part 2: pick one or two of your own recurring workflows and turn them into Skills using the same method.
A quick intro to our event host, Clarinet. Clarinet helps organizations operationalize AI adoption, the people side as much as the tooling. This session is a small version of how they work: less theory, more building. Their team is made up of experts and technologists, and they’re a long-term Chief of Staff Network partner.
