Join Home Assistant users, makers, and smart-home enthusiasts from Mississauga and the GTA for Community Day 2026.

This will be a relaxed, community-focused meetup to share ideas, see practical demos, and connect with others interested in Home Assistant, open smart-home technology, privacy, and local-first automation.

Beginners are absolutely welcome. Whether you already run Home Assistant or are just getting started, come to learn, ask questions, meet other enthusiasts, and share what you’ve built.

What to expect

• A short Home Assistant and local-first smart-home demo

• Automation and dashboard show-and-tell

• Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter & Thread, and ESPHome discussion

• Hardware show-and-tell

• Open Q&A and troubleshooting discussion

• Time to meet and connect with other local smart-home enthusiasts

Bring something to share

Have an automation, dashboard, ESPHome project, or interesting smart-home device?

Feel free to bring your phone, laptop, or hardware and show it to the group. If you have a smart-home problem you’ve been trying to solve, bring that too — someone in the room may have already dealt with something similar.

Venue & registration

The exact venue and final agenda are currently being confirmed and will be updated here shortly.

Space is limited and registration is required.
