Sunrise Cold Plunge for Ocean Health
No panels. No slides. No lanyards.
Just cold water, warm people, and the San Francisco Bay at sunrise.
Sustainable Ocean Alliance & its affiliate VC Fund Seabird Ventures bring you SF Climate Week's official cold plunge. Whether you're here for the ocean, the community, or just need to check "jumped into the Bay" off your SF bucket list, you're in the right place.
This is an invitation to connect in the ocean and with the ocean. To feel it. To remember why it matters. Sometimes the best way to care for the ocean is to simply be in it. We'll meet at the edge of the Bay, breathe in the salt air, and share a moment that reconnects us to what this work is all about.
The ocean covers 70% of our planet, regulates our climate, and feeds billions of people. SOA believes that protecting it starts with people who feel genuinely connected to it. This morning is one small step toward that.
Come meet ocean enthusiasts, climate folks, and a whole lot of brave humans who showed up to start their day the hard (and best) way. Jumping into the water is completely optional! Come for the freeze, stay for the ocean chats.
Everything you need to know to show up.
Bathing suit. Towel. Layers. Coffee cup. Great attitude. ✅
Bring friends, bring family, or come completely solo. We'll have coffee & croissants in case the cold water is not enough to wake you up :)
