Speaker: Damilare Asimiyu
Damilare Asimiyu is an Economist with deep expertise in policy analysis, strategy, industry research, and financial modeling. Over the past five years as a Macroeconomic Strategist at Afrinvest Consulting (a subsidiary of Afrinvest West Africa), he has authored 10 bi-annual macroeconomic reports on Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa, alongside five annual Nigerian banking sector reviews and five annual brewery sector reports. His work also spans strategy consulting and advisory services for more than 15 mid- to large-scale businesses and sub-national parastatals.
Previously, Damilare served with GTI Capital and Unity Bank, where he supported research and strategy initiatives. He is a First-Class graduate of Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and the recipient of multiple academic awards. He further enhanced his expertise with a certification in Financial Market Analysis from Yale University (U.S.), equipping him with advanced skills in economic and financial analysis.
