MIGAM x Art Studio Gong : Experience the Aesthetics - Korean <Crane> Minhwa Workshop
About Workshop
Discover Minhwa (민화), Korean traditional folk painting, through a hands-on painting workshop.
In Minhwa, each motif carries its own meaning and symbolism. The crane is traditionally associated with longevity, peace, and harmony, making it one of the most beloved motifs in Korean art.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic techniques of Minhwa and paint your own crane on a 15 × 15 cm Hanji canvas. You’ll be guided step by step, so no previous painting experience is needed.
Take a moment to slow down, enjoy the process of painting, and experience a piece of Korean art and culture through your own hands.
