Mêlant souvenirs, fiction et confessions, Tisser la soie retrace l'histoire de trois générations de femmes d'une même famille vietnamienne, depuis leur arrivée au Québec en 1975. C'est à travers l'intimité et la vulnérabilité des relations intergénérationnelles que la réalisatrice expose les disparités contextuelles transformant le rapport à l'identité chez les femmes de sa famille.
Histoires d'anxiétés d'Adèle Schneider

Ce film d'animation croise les récits de trois femmes qui racontent leur anxiété, depuis les premiers signes apparus durant l'enfance jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Leurs histoires s'entrelacent et mettent en lumière ce que signifie vivre avec l'anxiété au quotidien. Le film explore la solitude, les questionnements et les stratégies mises en place pour avancer. Sans jamais chercher à généraliser, Histoires d'anxiétés s'ancre dans l'intime et montre qu'il existe plusieurs formes d'anxiété. Il révèle comment elle joue un rôle important dans les relations, les prises de décision, ainsi que dans la perception de soi et du monde. Ce film invite à mieux comprendre l'anxiété et à rappeler à celles et ceux qui s'y reconnaissent qu'ils ne sont pas seuls.
En pays froid de Hervé Demers

Des personnes immigrantes issues de l'Afrique subsaharienne choisissent de refaire leur vie au nord du 49e parallèle. Ici, sur le vaste territoire d'Eeyou Istchee Baie-James, chacune et chacun doit réapprendre à vivre au rythme d'une saison qui leur était jusque-là inconnue : l'hiver.
ReXistence de Will Prosper

Plongée sensorielle dans l'histoire étouffée des communautés afrodescendantes au Canada, ReXistence ravive des fragments de mémoire collective effacés. Ce portrait historique tissé exclusivement d'archives bouscule par sa poésie visuelle brute, qui rend hommage à la force inaltérable de celles et ceux qui ont résisté. Face au silence institutionnel, le film s'érige en cri politique et remet en question notre rapport à la justice. Il nous oblige à voir… et à ne plus détourner le regard. Ce n'est pas du passé. C'est maintenant.

Weaving together memory, fiction and confession, Tisser la soie traces the story of three generations of women from the same Vietnamese family, from their arrival in Québec in 1975. Through the intimacy and vulnerability of intergenerational relationships, the director lays bare the shifting contexts that reshaped each woman's relationship to her own identity.
Histoires d'anxiétés by Adèle Schneider

This animated film interweaves the accounts of three women describing their anxiety, from the first signs in childhood to the present day. Their stories overlap and reveal what it means to live with anxiety day to day — the loneliness, the questioning, the strategies built to keep moving forward. Without ever generalizing, Histoires d'anxiétés stays rooted in the intimate and shows that anxiety takes many forms. It reveals the role anxiety plays in relationships, in decision-making, and in how we see ourselves and the world. An invitation to understand anxiety better, and a reminder to anyone who recognizes themselves in it that they are not alone.

A sensory dive into the smothered history of Afro-descendant communities in Canada, ReXistence revives erased fragments of collective memory. Woven entirely from archival footage, this historical portrait unsettles with its raw visual poetry, paying tribute to the unbreakable strength of those who resisted. Against institutional silence, the film becomes a political cry and calls our relationship to justice into question. It forces us to look… and to stop looking away. This is not the past. This is now.
