The Strange Little Cat

Karin visits her parents and younger sister Clara in their Berlin apartment. Relatives are gathering for dinner; a washing machine needs repair, food is being prepared, and conversations drift between ordinary subjects. With a fixed camera observing the family, their guests, a cat and a dog, small gestures and interruptions form an intricate portrait of domestic life.
