Swarm Alignment Hackathon
Join CISAI, in partnership with Apart Research, for the Swarm Alignment Hackathon!
Safe individual AI models don’t necessarily make safe teams. Groups of agents can collude, spread attacks and coordinate in ways that single-model safety tests miss.
In this 3-day research sprint, you’ll build tools and run experiments across four tracks:
Sandboxes and Testbeds: Build secure environments for studying agent groups.
The Science of Agent Networks: Explore how roles, leaders and failures emerge.
Strengthening Agent Infrastructure: Test identity, reputation and commitments between agents.
Multi-Agent Oversight and Control: Detect unsafe coordination and keep agent groups accountable.
Everyone is welcome. No specific background, previous sprint experience or pre-existing team is needed. Work solo or in teams of up to five.
Find collaborators, get expert feedback and compete for $4,000 in global cash prizes. Top teams are invited to apply to the Apart Fellowship for further research and mentorship.
