AI x Epistemics Research Sprint
Join CISAI, in partnership with Apart Research, for the AI x Epistemics Research Sprint!
AI is changing how we decide what to believe and what to do. How can we make it better at helping people assess evidence, check claims and make informed decisions?
In this 3-day research sprint, you’ll build tools and run experiments across four tracks:
Model Epistemics & Decision-Making Evals: Test whether models’ confidence matches their evidence and improves decisions.
Trust Infrastructure: Make claims easier to verify and sources easier to assess.
Epistemic Products: Build tools that help people reason clearly and make better choices.
Open Track: Explore other ideas, including how to get useful tools adopted and measure their impact.
Everyone is welcome. No specific background, previous sprint experience or pre-existing team is needed. Work solo or in teams of up to five.
Find collaborators, get expert feedback and compete for $2,000 in global cash prizes. Top teams are invited to apply to the Apart Fellowship for further research and mentorship.
