Voice Agents Workshop - No Coding Skills
How do you build AI assistants that you can actually talk to?
In this session, we will demystify how voice agents work and look at the design behind popular tools like Granola (AI note-taker) and Vapi (voice assistants). We'll do a live demo building a simple voice agent, connecting it to data, and showing you how it can answer questions, take calls, and help your users.
Agenda:
a. Back-to-Basics: The core mechanics of Voice Agents: speech-to-text, voice generation and current limits.
b. Under the Hood: How AI note-takers (like Granola) and voice agents (like Vapi) are designed.
c. Hands-on Build: Setting up a custom voice agent and connecting it to your own data/knowledge base.
d. Testing & Validation: How to test your voice agents for latency, hallucinations, or inaccuracies.
