Nucleus Fund Introduction Workshop

Curious about funding opportunities through the Nucleus Fund? Join us for a virtual workshop designed to introduce founders and innovators to one of Utah’s key sources of early-stage investment.

The Nucleus Fund is a $40 million evergreen venture fund backed by the state of Utah that invests in deep tech companies. During this session, our team will walk through how the fund works and what companies should know before applying.

The workshop will cover:

  • Investment criteria established under HB 530

  • How our student-led diligence model works

  • The fund process and investment timelines

  • Typical check sizes and deal structures

This session is ideal for Utah-based companies that are preparing to raise equity financing or actively exploring funding options, especially those working in life sciences, energy, defense, advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, or other emerging technology sectors.

We’ll wrap up with an open Q&A, giving founders the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the process.
