At our last Claude Community Conversation in Bhopal, we explored a simple question:
What does it mean to build with AI in 2026?
We discussed how AI is changing the way we learn, work and create. We shared ideas, debated opportunities and challenges and imagined what's possible.
Now it's time to turn those conversations into action.
Claude Impact Lab is a full-day civic AI hackathon where builders, students, designers, founders, researchers and problem-solvers come together to answer one question:
How could AI make Bhopal better?
Instead of building another AI demo, we'll focus on real problems affecting our city and prototype solutions that could improve everyday life.
Participants will form teams, identify local challenges, build AI-powered prototypes using Claude and present their ideas to a judging panel.
Possible challenge areas include:

Ideas Explanation :
1. AI for Better Civic Services
How can AI make it easier for citizens to access government services, report issues and receive timely responses?
2. AI for Sustainable Bhopal
How can AI help keep Bhopal cleaner, protect its lakes and improve environmental sustainability?
3. AI for Smarter Mobility
How can AI improve public transport, navigation and daily commuting for residents and visitors?
4. AI for Inclusive Communities
How can AI improve access to education, healthcare, public information and opportunities for every citizen?
Teams are also encouraged to bring their own ideas that can create measurable social impact for Bhopal.
Throughout the day, participants will collaborate, prototype rapidly with Claude, receive mentorship and refine their solutions before presenting final demos.
The goal isn't simply to build impressive technology it's to explore how AI can solve meaningful local problems and inspire projects that continue long after the event ends.
