About Event

Claude for Research Meetup is a hands-on Claude Community event designed for researchers, faculty, PhD and doctoral students, graduate students, and anyone interested in exploring how Claude can support rigorous academic and research work.

Following the Claude for Research Workshop on September 4, this meetup offers a more accessible and conversational space to continue exploring Claude, answer practical questions, and learn through live demonstrations.

What we’ll explore:

  • Getting started with Claude for research and academic work

  • Practical research workflows and live tutorials

  • Working with papers, documents, evidence, and complex information

  • Asking better questions and designing more effective interactions with Claude

  • Where AI can extend a researcher’s capabilities — and where human judgment remains essential

  • Common questions, limitations, good practices, and responsible use of AI in research

This is not a session about delegating research to AI. The goal is to understand how researchers can work with AI critically, transparently, and effectively, while maintaining methodological rigor and responsibility.

Expect a practical, interactive session with live examples, discussion, and space for questions.

Hosted by Dr. Vinicius Covas, Research Professor at Universidad Anáhuac México and Claude Community Ambassador in Mexico.
