About Event

Join a Claude Community Event, organized by local designers* for everyone who loves designing and building with Claude!

This event is focused at design engineers, product/UX design, motion/graphic design, and everything in-between. The speakers will cover distinctly different areas to to offer material breadth, but all in the context of software (this time).

We'll have 5 lightning talk speakers — 6–8 minutes each, each with a different focus area within the wider lens of design.

Speakers:

  1. Andrei Alikimovich - Building personal design software with Claude Code and Claude Code SDK to improve and accelerate your unique design process. Topics covered: accessibility, prototyping in code, design engineering handoff, and tasks automation

  2. Maks Surguy - Becoming a full-er Stack Designer: how I build the tools I wish existed.

    • Maks will share a series of small tools, experiments, and creative projects I’ve built to improve his own workflows, explore unfamiliar technologies, and occasionally replace the software I thought I needed. Topics covered: Shaders, motion design, vector graphics, procedural systems.

  3. Naz Michel - Naz will discuss how he uses Claude Code for user research, shares the findings with his team, and makes the research data a permanent context for the company’s design and product decisions.

  4. Setu Kathawate (LI) - Improving communication between builders and AI agents. When building web interfaces with AI coding assistants, visual back-and-forths over screenshots waste valuable time and token budgets because traditional browser inspectors weren't built for agentic workflows. Setu will show how a tool called Specter combines element inspection with Figma-style spatial measurements to capture exact DOM state and CSS deltas in a single click. It creates token-efficient context for tools like Claude Code, eliminating prompt trial-and-error to accelerate AI-assisted development.

  5. Andrei Kashcha -

    Other details:

  1. Food and drinks to be provided

  2. PSL's Andrea will be downstairs checking people in and shuttling you up to the 3rd floor.
If you're too early/too late/miss Andrea, use the callbox outside to dial 160 and get buzzed into the lobby.

  3. Public parking and transit nearby

  4. Before and after the lightning talks there will be time to mix, mingle and vibe with your fellow designers (as well as the sneaky PMs and engineers that will inevitably show up).

*I, Lucas, am a design poser, but please allow some grace for my enthusiasm.
