Close the Books
Close the Books is a one-day Build Day where teams will use Claude to tackle a realistic finance challenge: turning a synthetic multi-entity company’s scattered, messy financial data into a complete, traceable, and audit-ready month-end close.
Throughout the day, you’ll work alongside fellow builders, experiment with Claude, design practical workflows, and develop a solution that brings clarity and structure to the closing process. Your work will be evaluated across criteria such as accuracy, traceability, usability, and the quality of the final result.
The day will culminate in live demos, where teams will present what they built, share their approach, and show how Claude helped them move from fragmented data to a reliable financial close. Winners will be announced at the end of the event.
Whether you’re a developer, finance professional, analyst, designer, operator, or simply curious about building with Claude, you’re welcome to join. Come with a team or meet fellow participants on the day.
Teams must consist of three to four people. If you don’t have a team, you’ll be assigned to one if your registration is accepted.
