Claude Code on Amazon Bedrock: a hands-on workshop [EN]
You'll set up Claude Code on Amazon Bedrock the way a company rolls it out to its engineers: model access through a gateway, spend limits, managed settings on every developer's machine, and usage tracking in CloudWatch. Free, in Wrocław, run in English. Bring a laptop, because you'll be typing for most of the day.
What it's about
How to give Claude Code to a whole engineering team and still keep control of cost, identity and audit. Level: advanced (300).
The habits carry over to any platform. CLAUDE.md, Agent Skills, the explore-plan-code-commit workflow and permission policies work the same way on the Claude API.
Who it's for
Tech leads, platform engineers and architects who've been asked to roll Claude Code out to a team, or who do that for clients. You should be able to find your way around the AWS console. If you'd like an introduction to Claude Code itself, come to one of our meetups instead.
What you need
A laptop with a browser. The workshop is free of charge, and so is everything you use in it. You don't need an AWS account or a credit card. On the day you'll get a free, pre-configured sandbox account from AWS Builder Center, with VS Code in the browser, Claude Code and the AWS CLI ready to go.
Approved attendees also get Claude API credits, so you can keep building with Claude after the workshop.
Two things to do before the workshop
A few days before, sign in at builder.aws.com so your account exists when you arrive.
Don't request the sandbox environment before the workshop. You get one per week, and if you use it earlier in the week you'll arrive without one.
Seats
20 seats, and we choose attendees by hand. We try to put together a room where everyone gets the most out of the day, so your answer to "What do you want working on Monday?" matters more than how early you signed up. If you can't make it, cancel your spot so someone on the waitlist can take it.
Food
Coffee, tea, water and lemonade all day, plus snacks: mini croissants with pesto, tomato and mozzarella, chicken bagels, chocolate mousse, sweet and savoury pastries and a green smoothie.
