Adelaide | Claude Cowork 101 Workshop
Already using AI to chat, write and brainstorm, but want to see what Claude can do beyond the chat... including automating repetitive work with your own tools and data?
This 2 hour workshop is all about learning by doing, for small business owners and operators. You’ll bring tasks from your day-to-day work, and we’ll use Claude Cowork to see how it can help you streamline or automate tasks, including setting it up to run on a schedule.
You’ll be working directly with your own accounts and data during the workshop, so please only register if you’re comfortable connecting your tools and systems to Claude during the session.
What we’ll cover
Getting Claude Cowork set up properly on your laptop, including connecting to the tools and systems you already use.
Understand what Cowork can do (and where it’s useful)
Work through a real task using your own data and learn how to identify repetitive work that could be handed off to Claude
Leave with a scheduled task running in your account, doing something useful every week
Before you arrive
To get the most out of the session, you’ll need to:
Bring a fully charged laptop and charger
Have the Claude Desktop app downloaded
Have Cowork enabled and ready to use
Be able to connect your own workplace tools or accounts (including logins for platforms like as Gmail, Outlook, Slack or Google Drive)
Have the appropriate permissions if your workplace requires IT or admin approval
We’ll check you’ve done these at the door so ensure you get the most out of the session.
This session is specifically for people who are new or starting with Claude Cowork and want to learn what it can do through a practical, hands on workshop. No previous automation or coding experience is required. This workshop is not designed for intermediate or advanced users.
