Claude Code → Figma: Getting Started | PART 2
🛜 THIS IS A VIRTUAL EVENT
A lot of designers have now seen the demos.
Claude Code. MCP servers. Figma MCP. Code → design. Design → code.
It all looks promising — but for most people, the real question is still:
How do you actually get started?
This session is a practical walkthrough of what I’m learning as I explore Claude Code and the world of MCP servers, especially from a designer’s perspective.
We’ll cover:
what Claude Code actually is
how MCP servers work and why they matter
how tools like Figma MCP start to connect design and code workflows
what feels useful already vs. what still feels rough
I’ll also show a real example from my own workflow:
how I’ve been trying to use Claude Code + Figma with the DesignX website — not as a polished success story, but as an honest working session.
We’ll look at:
where the setup gets confusing
what the workflow makes easier
where it breaks down
and what this could mean for designers who want to work more directly with live product and code
This is not a polished keynote. It’s a practical session for designers who are curious about these tools and want a more grounded way in.
Come if you’re:
hearing about Claude Code but haven’t used it yet
curious about MCP servers
trying to understand what Figma MCP actually unlocks
interested in where design workflows may be heading next
You don’t need to install anything to attend.
Just come watch, learn, and ask questions.
