About Event
Beers Books is hosting William Burg, @sacramentohistorian and author of Sacramento’s Southside Park for an author talk on the history of Southside Park!
This talk and slideshow will discuss the 14 people I met and interviewed for the book, the diverse communities of the Southside neighborhood, the archives, libraries, and other sources I consulted to turn a stack of interviews and photos into a history book, and the political and social forces that have shaped it over time.
Bill will have copies of the book available for sale and signature, as well as his other works.
This event is not hosted by Strong SacTown. RSVP if you want to attend with other Strong SacTown members.
