Build Challenge : Unaite, MWM, Apple & ⌘+F
4 students. 2 days of building. One app ready for submission.
Join Unaite, MWM, Apple and Command+F for a Build Challenge bringing together 40 students across 10 teams to build an app for the Apple ecosystem.
Work on a real user problem, build a working product, and develop a plan to bring it to market. By the end of the challenge, your team will pitch its app and submit a build to the App Store through App Store Connect.
Who can apply?
You must apply as a complete team of 4 students, with:
2 tech profiles responsible for development and technical implementation.
2 business profiles responsible for user research, positioning, pricing, launch strategy and the final pitch.
Your team must be available for the kick-off and both build days. Participants must bring their own Mac.
You can apply with a new idea or an existing project. Existing projects will be reviewed for eligibility. Explain what you have already built and what you plan to deliver during the challenge.
What will you build?
An app with a clear use case, a working core experience and a path to monetization. Your team can explore technologies including:
Apple Intelligence and Foundation Models
On-device AI and custom machine learning models
Liquid Glass
Siri and App Intents
StoreKit and in-app purchases
Engineers will build the product while business teammates test assumptions with users, define the offer and prepare the launch.
Who will support you?
Unaite brings together students from its network of AI associations across France.
MWM brings product, growth and monetization expertise from building and publishing apps at scale.
Apple brings technical expertise across its platforms and technologies.
Command+F brings experienced Apple developers to support teams throughout the build.
Key dates
Sunday 4 October 2026, 23:59: application deadline, Paris time.
Friday 9 October: kick-off, 17:00–20:00.
Thursday 15 and Friday 16 October: two build days at MWM in Boulogne-Billancourt.
How to apply
Form your team of four and choose one team lead.
Every member registers individually on this Luma page, using the exact same team / project name.
Everyone completes the personal, team, logistics and consent questions.
The team lead also completes all questions marked [Team lead] at the end of the form. Other members can leave these blank.
