​Franklin Templeton launched its first digital assets-backed exchange-traded fund (ETF) in Jan, 2024, the Franklin Bitcoin ETF, under the ticker EZBC. The fund is a spot bitcoin ETF available for U.S. investors and seeks to reflect the performance of the price of bitcoin, less the expense of fund operations.

​Anthony Pecore is a senior vice president and director of Digital Asset Management for Franklin Templeton. Mr. Pecore is responsible for leading a team of experienced data scientists and research analysts to invest in private and alternative credit opportunities and develop investment strategies in the digital assets space.

​Mr. Pecore has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has nearly two decades of experience in traditional fixed income portfolio management and research; including multi-sector fixed income, global absolute return, and machine learning driven alternative credit strategies. He joined Franklin Templeton in 2002 as a research analyst.
