​Join us for "Story Swap: Your Career Retrospective" — a low-key, high-connection kickoff to Career Camp, where you'll interview each other like you're writing a career retrospective on a rising star. That star is you! 🌟

​We'll meet at The Gardens at Lake Merritt (my favorite hidden gem), pair up, and peel off to find a quiet nook to interview each other — twists, pivots, lucky breaks, and the "wait, how did I end up here" moments that got you to today.

​🎙️ What to expect
— 1:00pm: Meet at the Gardens entrance, pair up
— Interview pairs + a simple discussion guide (bring a notebook or your phone)
— ~30 min each as interviewer/interviewee, tucked into the gardens
— Group debrief before the gardens close at 3pm
— 🍻 Happy hour to follow at Drake's Dealership for anyone who can stick around

​This is the first event in Career Camp, a free summer series for UX researchers, designers, and strategists navigating a high-pressure and rapidly-changing industry — built around curiosity, low-pressure experimentation, and reconnecting with why we liked this work in the first place.
