If you have ever walked into a room and wondered where the desi women at the table were, this evening is the answer to that question.
Apna Table is a curated dinner bringing together South Asian women working in venture capital, tech, and the startup ecosystem. After a very successful dinner in Montreal that led the ambitious women in the room to quite literally change the trajectory of their lives, Apna Table is back this time in Vancouver!
The idea is simple: good food, real conversation, and an evening spent with women who get it. Whether you are a founder, investor, operator, engineer, or somewhere in between, you belong at this table.
We are keeping the group intentionally intimate so that conversations can go deep and everyone actually gets to connect. Expect the kind of night where you swap stories about navigating spaces that were not built for us, swap contacts because someone across the table just said exactly what you needed to hear, and maybe stay longer than you planned because the conversation was too good to cut short.
Not for networking. Not for business cards. Not for another panel.

A note on cost: this is a hosted gathering, not a ticketed event. Dinner is on you when you arrive; please expect around $25-$50 per person, depending on what you order.
Spots are limited, so grab your seat before they fill up. Come hungry, come curious, and bring a friend who should be in the room too.

6 pm - Everyone meets at the restaurant and gets comfortable and seated6:15 pm - Opening words from the hostess + ice-breakers as we order drinks and appetizers
6:30 pm - A mix of guided discussion and free-flowing conversation over amazing food
8 pm - Final words and wrap-up + a small token of appreciation
