Presented by the University of Alberta Vice President of Innovation, International, and Enterprise Office (VPIIE), eHUB Entrepreneurship Centre, The Engineering Incubator, Health Innovation Hub, and Student Innovation Centre (SIC).
The University of Alberta is home to a wide range of innovation and entrepreneurship support supporting the earliest ideas to the most rapidly growing scaleups.
Join us for the U of A Innovation & Entrepreneurship Expo, a single evening where you can meet the people and programs behind campus's startup ecosystem.
The evening opens with a round of rapid-fire presentations, giving each group a few minutes to introduce what they do and who they're looking for. From there, it's open networking: table exhibits, refreshments, and time to connect directly with the teams that can help move your idea, research, or venture forward.
Whether you're exploring your first idea, deep into a venture, or just curious what's out there, this is the fastest way to find out what supports exist on campus to drive innovation forward.
What to Expect:
Rapid-Fire Pitch Showcase (CCIS 1-430): Hear 2-to-3-minute pitches from key ecosystem players detailing who they are, what support they offer, and how to get involved.
Ecosystem Expo & Networking (CCIS Foyer): Explore table displays, ask direct questions, and build connections with program directors, student leaders, and fellow innovators.
Refreshments: Complimentary food and drinks provided while you network.
