​Chapter Zero Alliance-Kenya Chapter (Previously-Climate Governance Initiative (CGI)) presents an exclusive breakfast roundtable addressing the critical role of climate governance in institutional investment decision-making. Climate and nature considerations have evolved from peripheral concerns to core drivers of portfolio performance, long-term returns and sustainable wealth creation. 

​This strategic roundtable provides a platform for board-level dialogue on climate and nature governance, positioning Kenya’s institutional investors at the forefront of sustainable capital markets leadership in Africa. The Kenya Chapter is convening this exclusive roundtable for board members of institutional investors, including DFIs, pension funds, insurance companies and banks. The session aims to sensitise boards of institutional investors about the need to adhere to sound climate and nature governance and inculcate sustainability in their investment mandate, exploring how these practices are critical to portfolio performance, risk management, and long-term value creation.
