Community Town Hall: Artist Residency Pilot

We’re gearing up to launch our first 6-Week Artist Residency Pilot in early 2027, designed to offer local movement and music artists dedicated studio time, mentorship, a creative retreat, and a humble stipend.

Before we lock down details, we want to open the door for the community to plan and build this with us.

Whether you’re an artist interested in applying down the road, a peer organizer, or someone who loves this space, come through to hear the blueprint, push our thinking, and help bring this to life.

Why Come?

• Preview the Pilot: Get the rundown on our intentions, the proposed schedule, and the offerings: studio hours, mentorship pairing, and off-site retreat.

• Give Direct Feedback: Tell us what works, what’s missing, and what local artists actually need right now to thrive.

• Plug Into the Team: We’re assembling a Project Circle—the small working crew that will help coordinate and produce the residency. If you want hands-on experience co-running this, we’d love to have you.

• Suggest Mentors & Judges: Help us build our selection panel and recommend prospective mentors across dance, somatic practice, and interdisciplinary arts.
