AI Mission Hub and BI Startup Village co-host the Build what matters event

AI Mission Hub and BI Startup Village bring together organisations, AI professionals, researchers, founders, students and technology experts to transform real-world challenges into practical AI solutions.

The event will feature expert talks, panel discussions, real-world AI case studies, networking opportunities and the official presentation of AI Mission Hub’s founding cohort.

Students at BI Norwegian Business School can attend free of charge by presenting a valid BI student ID at the entrance.

FREE — AI professionals

AI professionals can apply for a complimentary ticket. A limited number of tickets are available, and selected applicants will receive a personal invitation.

Andrea Nylund

Special Adviser at Oslo&Co, focused on strengthening Oslo’s international visibility, innovation ecosystem and ability to attract global talent.

Bielenis Villanueva Triana

Cluster Manager at H2Cluster and Venture Builder at Kjeller Innovasjon, with more than 13 years of experience in energy, technology, entrepreneurship and deep-tech commercialisation.

Marielle Mortensdatter

Technology leader and strategic adviser with experience in finance, fintech and regulated industries. She specialises in connecting technology, business strategy and people.

Olga Sergeeva

Head of Analytics at TINE, where she leads the use of data, advanced analytics and AI to improve decision-making and support business transformation.

Benedicte Hagen Mjøs

Board Member of the Women in AI Global Association, leadership adviser, strategist and founder specialising in inclusive leadership, organisational development and international innovation ecosystems.

Eric Stein-Beldring

Product, marketing and growth strategist, workshop facilitator and keynote speaker who helps startups and scale-ups connect product strategy, market positioning and practical execution.

Rim Othman

Policy and governance strategist specialising in responsible AI, ESG, sustainability, diversity and inclusive digital transformation.

Alexander Refsum Jensenius

Director of the MishMash Centre for AI and Creativity and Professor of Music Technology at the University of Oslo. His research explores the relationship between humans, machines, creativity, sound and movement.

Mohit Gidwani

Strategic Operations Leader at Cisco and Board Member of the Women in AI Global Association, with expertise in business transformation, AI strategy, technology operations and open innovation.

Jing Lin

Co-founder of AI Mission Hub and an industrial strategy and supply chain leader with more than 16 years of international experience. She works at the intersection of AI, strategy and business development, building networks and opportunities for women and professionals in technology.

Katrine Vetlesen

Director at Oslo Science City, where she supports collaboration across research, education, business and the public sector within Oslo’s innovation ecosystem.

Mats Hagland

COO at Kongsberg Innovasjon, working with industrial innovation and helping technology startups and growth companies develop and scale. He holds a business education from BI, where his master’s research explored machine learning and neural networks.

Chris Klemmetvold

Social entrepreneur and business developer at Impact StartUp Norge, supporting companies that address societal challenges through sustainable business models. He is also the founder of Medarbeiderne, a work-inclusion social enterprise.

Tom O. Kleppestø

Maritime industry leader and management consultant with extensive experience in ocean industries, entrepreneurship, executive development and international business networks. He works to connect maritime companies, innovators and industry stakeholders across the Oslofjord region and beyond.

Ariana Garcia

Senior international development and public policy professional at Mission Alliance, with experience in institutional partnerships and programmes supporting sustainable livelihoods, education and inclusive development. She is also a social entrepreneur and holds a master’s degree in International Development and Policy from the University of Chicago.

Vibeke Stølen

Entrepreneur, business leader and advocate for founders and SMEs, with extensive experience building companies, raising venture capital, soft funding and developing international businesses. She works at the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology and policy, and is passionate about creating better conditions for innovation, value creation and the people who take the risk to build.
