BIG NIGHT screening & TIMPANO tasting!
On Monday Nov. 2, we're celebrating 30 years of the best food film to come out of the Jersey Shore, "The Big Night" by Stanley Tucci and Campbell Scott.
No matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get Tucci to join us. So instead, we got three amazing Philly chefs to whip up their version of the timpano, the drum-shaped Italian baked pasta pie that Primo (Tony Shalhoub) and Secondo (Tucci) make for the legendary bandleader Louis Prima. Maybe you've never watched the film, or maybe you can recite all of it in sleep, this will be a fun little movie hang for everyone. Come hungry and nostalgic. Featuring timpanos from Liz Grothe, Ari Miller, and Mallory Valvano.
Tickets $20, including timpano. Open to the public.
Doors at 6:30, screening at 7:30pm
