Create-a-thon: Founder Stories
This is NOT an AI hackathon.
We believe in human taste combined with AI tools to tell exceptional founder stories.
Most stories in tech/VC are similar: podcasts, blog posts or boring articles.
We're calling all creators in San Francisco to rethink the way we tell founder stories: their childhood, their dreams, their ambition and achievements.
How it will work:
We will kick things off at 7pm on Friday, bringing you testimonials from 2 EF founders who will tell you their story, live on stage. Think of it as an intimate fireside, recorded so you can get access to the audio file
You will have 12 hours to craft a video out of this conversation to tell the founders' stories in a non-obvious and creative way, using your taste enhanced by AI
There will be food and drinks provided; you can start working on your video right away at the venue. However, you will need to leave by 11pm and keep working from the comfort of your home (no overnight stay allowed)
On Saturday morning, we'll meet back at the venue at 9am for breakfast and the awards
All footage and context will be provided at the start of the event.
A highly curated creator experience with just 20 spots available
A strong cohort of creator: a carefully selected group across video, design, and music
Creative constraints: work with real founder stories and provided footage; build something original under time pressure

This is an individual-focused experience, but collaboration is encouraged.

This event is hosted by Entrepreneurs First, in partnership with ElevenLabs.
This event requires attendance in person at a venue in San Francisco (for kick-off and awards). The exact location will be disclosed upon selection.
