Couch Conversations

​The best conversations happen organically. They happen over a beer, a wine or a coffee, when people engage with ideas and let the conversation flow. That's what we're trying to capture with Couch Conversations.

​Couch Conversations is an event unlike others you've been to. Fewer questions asked and answered, more conversation. Each Couch Conversation will be with a small group of people actively building Victoria's startup ecosystem, with no moderator, no slides and no lectern. Then the conversation starts and goes where it goes.

​This season of Couch Conversations is centered on the question of where to next for the Victorian startup ecosystem. We've seen some fairly big changes here in Victoria, with LaunchVic and Breakthrough Victoria merging, a new capital gains tax regime, and a little thing called AI changing what and how people are building. These are all areas we'll explore during the first season.
