Recruiter Insider
Recruiter Insider 🎤
Intern Insider is officially going IRL.
Join Intern Insider × eProjects for our first Vancouver event, Recruiter Insider, an in-person panel, open Q&A, live resume review, and networking event built to give students a more honest look at the recruiting process.
We’re bringing together four current and former recruiters from a range of backgrounds, including technical industries, film, finance, and more.
Whether you’re looking for an internship, preparing for new grad recruiting, or just trying to figure out where to start, all majors, industries, and career paths are welcome.
What to expect
🎤 Recruiter Panel
Hear candid perspectives on what recruiters actually look for.🙋 Open Q&A
Ask the questions you normally do not get the chance to ask.🔥 Live Resume Review
Selected attendees can have their resumes reviewed directly by recruiters, with practical feedback on what works, what could be improved, and how expectations can differ across industries.🤝 Open Networking
Stay after the panel to meet recruiters, ask follow-up questions, and connect with other students.
We’ll be talking about everything from resumes and applicant tracking systems to networking, cold emailing, interviews, standing out in competitive applicant pools, and what actually happens after you click “Apply.”
🔥 Live Resume Roasting Open Google Form
Attendees can submit a resume ahead of the event to receive recruiter feedback.
You can choose to submit with your name attached or remove personal information such as your name, email, phone number, address, photo, and personal links.
You must attend Recruiter Insider in person to be eligible for resume feedback.
A selection of resumes will be reviewed live during the event. If you attend, opt in for feedback, and your resume is not selected for the live segment, we will still aim to review it after the event and send feedback to you by email.
Live review is not guaranteed.
Our recruiters come from different industries, so we recognize that a strong resume for software, business, film, design, creative roles, and other career paths may look very different. Feedback will take those differences into account.
