Crochet 101
Curious about crochet but not sure where to start?
This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to gently introduce you to the art of crochet in a calm, welcoming space.
Our friend Gigi from Guavette Montréal will cover the crochet basics step by step:
⁃ Materials needed to crochet
⁃ How to make a slip knot
⁃ How to hold a crochet hook
⁃ Crocheting a chain
⁃ How to single crochet
From there, you will be able to make a variety of projects using these very skills. For example, a scarf or a beanie.
No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to try something new in a positive environment.
NEW ADDITION: we also created a ticket for anyone who wants to join us for the vibes, and for our regulars at crochet club who are now at an intermediate level. We want to include you, always! Bring your own WIP and sit with us while others learn the basics.

Soft Studio Days is located in Montréal , 2000 northcliffe apt 216.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in, grab your drink, and find your spot before we begin.
Parking and public transit info: we are a hidden location. when you arrive at 2000 northcliffe, youre gonna walk past the main entrance door and walk down the street. youll then notice on the side of the building all the 200 apartments. youll see a wooden fence and were right next to that. 216 :)
