Your Competitive Advantage in the Brain Economy

Building brain-positive habits, leadership, and environments in the age of AI

There's a new term for what's becoming the real competitive advantage at work: brain capital. The McKinsey Health Institute, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, defines it as the combination of brain health and brain skills, and makes the case that it's now critical for productivity, innovation, and growth. Their argument is blunt: as AI transforms how we work, the risk is that it exhausts people rather than optimizing their performance. Countries and companies that fail to invest in human intelligence alongside artificial intelligence will struggle to sustain growth.

That's the "why." But here's the harder part and the reason for this session:

You already know stress is a problem. That’s not the issue. The real challenge is the gap between knowing it’s an issue and acting on it. In the moment, when the pressure is real.

In this free webinar, three experts from different disciplines unpack why high-performing people stay stuck in pressure patterns, what stress and AI-driven overload are actually doing to the brain, and how to interrupt it in ways that hold up at work and in real life.

We’ll bookend the hour with two live practices, and you’ll leave able to diagnose your own biggest drain across three levers: biology, beliefs, and environment. Attend live and you’ll get bonus resources to reinforce the learning and practices.

Key Takeaways for Participants

  • How to recognize the signs before you hit the wall: Maria's 7 signals to read your own capacity against your best self, not against everyone else.

  • Why brain skills are becoming the real competitive edge: how brain capital, and the brain economy taking shape around it, changes what individuals and leaders need to prioritize in the age of AI.

  • Two tangible practices you can use immediately: Kristaps will lead us in two practices, including a grounding practice to kick-off + an “emergency kit override" to close the session.

The Panel

  • Maria Engström Eriksson Founder, Mathea AB and Brain Athlete

  • Kristaps Kazaks Performance & Nervous System Coach, FIFA

This event will be recorded and shared with all who register.

If you join live, you'll receive a self-diagnostic across the three main levers we'll discuss: (biology, beliefs, and environment) so you can name your biggest drain, which is also your biggest point of leverage.
