Real-Time After Hours: London
Real-time data. Two technical talks. Drinks with the community.
Join us in London for an evening of technical conversations, food, drinks, and networking with the real-time data community.
We’ll start with two short sessions exploring Apache Fluss™ and the changing architecture of real-time data systems, then move into an informal evening of drinks, food, and conversations.
AGENDA
17:00–17:10 | Welcome & Opening Remarks
A quick welcome and introduction to the evening
17:10–17:30 | Apache Fluss™: What You Need to Know
A practical introduction to Apache Fluss™: what it is, where it fits alongside other streaming and data technologies, and what actually happens when you run it. Get a clear view of the architecture, core concepts, and where Fluss fits in a modern real-time data stack.
17:30–18:00 | Collapsing Distributed Systems Into One Table
Streaming stacks keep getting more complex. Queues, caches, lake copies, and synchronization jobs all add operational cost. This session explores how new streaming technologies combine a log, key-value store, and lake tier into one table, with union reads, delta joins, lookups, and changelogs
18:00–20:00 | Networking, Food & Drinks
Continue the conversation over food and drinks with the real-time data community
WHO SHOULD JOIN
Streaming engineers, data engineers, architects, platform teams, and anyone working with real-time data infrastructure.
Free to attend. Registration required.
Food and drinks are included.
