Founder and Engineer Matching
Most founders don't have an idea problem; they have a "who builds it?" problem.
You've got the business. Maybe customers, maybe revenue, maybe a clear roadmap. What you don't have is the technical person to take it to the next level. Meanwhile, plenty of engineers, from final-year students to seasoned tech leads, are looking for something real to build, and they're not finding it on job boards.
Great partnerships rarely start with a cold message. They start with a conversation.
Together with foundermatcha, we're bringing both sides into one room: founders with a business and engineers who want to build.
Who it's for
Founders with an existing business who are looking for technical support: a CTO, a technical co-founder, a freelance engineer, or your first hire.
Engineers at any level, from students to experienced tech, who want to join a startup, contribute to something real, or find their next co-founder.
Anyone in the ecosystem who wants to connect people to the right opportunity.
foundermatcha is bringing their own network of engineers, so expect a room full of people who can build.
Then, we open the mic.
One minute. One mic. The right person might be standing in the room.
The Format
Every 20-30 minutes we randomly pull 5-6 people from the room, founders and engineers:
Founders: 60 seconds on what you're building and who you're looking for.
Engineers: 60 seconds on what you do, what you're excited by, and what you want to work on.
⏱️ Go over time? 💦 Meet the water guns.

Its AI-driven agent matches people on personality, working style and how they like to collaborate, not just skills, so you meet people you'll actually work well with. For this event, they're bringing members of their engineering community, from students to experienced tech leads, so you can meet in person and keep the conversation going on the platform afterwards.
