Café Cursor is back at Vibe Café Langhams in Fourways — and this time, we're making a day of it.
This isn't a conference. There are no long presentations. And nobody expects you to arrive with a perfectly formed startup idea.
It's a chance to sit down, open your laptop, use Cursor, and build alongside other people who are figuring out what's possible with AI.
Bring the thing you've been meaning to build. A problem you don't yet know how to solve.
What happens at Café Cursor?
You'll spend the session working with Cursor alongside developers, founders, designers, students, creators and professionals exploring the transition from traditional work to AI-native building.
You can expect a relaxed, collaborative environment where people are:
→ experimenting with ideas
→ building and prototyping
→ sharing workflows
→ figuring out how to get more from Cursor
→ asking each other questions
→ showing each other what they've discovered
→ occasionally looking over someone's shoulder and saying, "Wait… how did you do that?"
The Cursor team will also be on hand to help you explore workflows, ideation, and ways of working with Cursor you may not have considered.
And importantly — you'll be able to use Cursor for free during the session.
You don't have to be an expert. You don't even have to be a developer. You just need to be curious enough to try.
Choose your session
☀️ Morning — 10:00 AM–1:00 PM A focused building session to start the day. Bring an idea, open your laptop and spend three hours experimenting with Cursor alongside other builders.
🌤️ Afternoon — 1:00 PM–4:00 PM Pick up where others left off or start something completely new. A second co-working session for building, experimenting, exchanging ideas and seeing how other people are using Cursor.
☕ Drop By — Flexible Can't stay for three hours? That's fine. Come say hi, meet the community, grab a free cup of coffee, see what people are building, and get a taste of the Cursor experience.
Bring your laptop. Bring an idea. Or bring neither.
The point is not to arrive knowing exactly what you're doing. The point is to leave knowing a little more about what might be possible.
Because we're still very early in figuring out what happens when software becomes something you can increasingly build by describing what you want.
So come experiment with us.
