CUTC: Transform Hackathon

​CUTC, Canada's largest and longest running student tech conference, is proud to host CUTC: Transform Hackathon!

​What is CUTC: Transform Hackathon?
CUTC: Transform Hackathon is a week-long virtual hackathon open to everyone around the globe, all skill levels are welcome. You'll get the chance to compete against 1000+ other students globally, gain access to exclusive speaker sessions, and network with industry professionals.

​When?
This hackathon runs from August 8th to August 15th. Throughout the week, CUTC will be hosting various in-person and online events that hackathon participants are free to join and take a break from programming.

​What can you build?
Solo or in a team of up to 4 participants, you'll be competing in one of 5 possible tracks:

• ​Media: audio, video, interactive digital art, or storytelling that pulls people in

• ​Apps: web, mobile, or desktop products that solve a problem people actually have

• ​Workflows: automations and tools that make complex tasks feel simple

• ​Hardware: physical computing, IoT, or robotics for the builders who like to get their hands dirty

• ​Design: sharp UI/UX and product thinking for the ones who care how it feels, not just how it works

​Mentors and sponsors are around online almost 24/7 if you get stuck or just want a second opinion.

​How can you win?
Judges will score every project on four things: technical execution, user experience, creativity, and originality. Prizes and more details on the tracks are to follow.
