Off the Record — Session 01 (Americas + EMEA) · A Do More With Less Using AI Roundtable
Most "AI for events" content right now is theater. Vendors hyping roadmaps, executives promising transformation without specifics, decks piling up while almost nobody describes a workflow they actually shipped.
Off the Record is the opposite of that.
It's a 60-minute roundtable for up to 24 event professionals to swap honest notes on what they're actually doing with AI, under Chatham House rules so nothing leaves the room and nothing gets recorded.
I'm running two sessions on Thursday, June 11 to cover global time zones. This one is built for Americas + EMEA: 9 AM Pacific / 12 PM ET / 5 PM London / 8 PM Dubai. (Or for the APAC-friendly time: Session 02 at 3 PM Pacific, 8 AM next-day Sydney.)
Format
• 10 min — welcome and intros in the main room
• 20 min — breakout into your chosen circle with 6–8 peers
• 20 min — stay and go deeper, or switch circles
• 10 min — come back together to share top insights
Pick your circle
🎯 Sales & Marketing — outreach, promotion, sponsorship, audience growth
📋 Planning & Operations — timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, project management
🎤 Programming & Attendee Experience — session content, speaker management, engagement
💬 Communications — stakeholder updates, internal messaging, cross-team coordination
Come if you run, produce, or market events for a living, you've been experimenting with AI in the background, and you're willing to share what you've tried (wins and fails both count).
Skip it if you're an AI vendor, investor, or press, or if you're looking for a panel of executives talking about transformation. Keeping the room peer-only on purpose.
To apply: request a spot below with one sentence on the AI thing you've tried and one challenge you're stuck on. Limited to 24 so everyone gets airtime.
Hosted by Noah Cheyer, publisher of Do More With Less Using AI.
