Gathering of Tribes San Diego is coming to Wild Seeds!
New location, special focus!
How do we work together to build a better future? You’ve heard the talk. Now let’s plan, build and strengthen. Enrich our community with resilience, resources, and connection! This will be a social meetup, then we will facilitate a brain storm session, bring the findings into reality with a collective work group and then facilitate connections that will last beyond this one event

Schedule:
1-4: Creek Swimming and Nature Play. Come socialize and decompress.
4-4:30: Opening Ceremony / Food Blessing
4:30-6: Potluck
6:00-6:30: Intro from GOT, WSR and Terrenity.
6:30-7:00: Share and brainstorm.
7-7:45: Work session, please bring resources that you care about, and be prepared to receive and connect with the efforts of others. (Laptops and phones encouraged)
7:45-8: Next Steps and Closing.
8-9: Post Mingling
How do we take action to build a better future? Some ideas to consider to and discuss:
Connect with active organizers and communities! Many methods of social change and growth are all empowered by stronger local living communities. We want to have a wider conversation, like what mutual aid groups are available to you. Consider time banking structures, alternative currencies (local and global), barn raising support, minority and women's rights organizations, local business prioritizations, supporting local trade, farm to table problems/solutions, local food production, farmers markets. But with a focus on the development of more intentional communities as a key to empowering all these other potentials.
Historically, the GOT San Diego events have been fantastic educational and social events at various intentional communities. But people often reported stepping away from the events energized but with unclear next steps. So, as some of the newest organizers, Wild Seeds Ranch wants to try a different framework for this event. We want to focus on building something that lasts for the attendees. Come out and join in, we hope connections made here may last a life time.
